Hello everyone! Oliver here! 🙈 greetings from the other side of the rainbow bridge! I know that many are sad about my departure, but I want to kindly ask you not to be sad, I lived the last remaining time of my life very happy and surrounded by the love of all of you and my beloved family. I love you meowmy, and I want you to know that I have not left your side for even a second. My spirit is still close to you and to all those beautiful people who, without knowing me, loved me until the end. I do not want my memory to be forgotten and for that reason I have told my meowmy that although I am no longer physically with all of you I want to continue advocating for my little brothers and sisters who live in the Sanctuary, I also want to continue advocating for all those homeless kittens that live on the streets, I want them to be able to have what I had when I was alive, I want them to be able to experience what true love and warmth of a family is, I want them to experience the feeling of having a meowmy to fight to the end for them, I want them to know that there is a better life for them, I want them to know that they are not alone and that I will be advocating for them through my memory. My legacy has always been love and compassion and I want to share with all those forgotten cats a little piece of my life and a little piece of the love that I found with you and with my family. In 2023 I was misdiagnosed by a veterinarian, he diagnosed me with kidney disease and a very advanced infection in my mouth and gave me two months to live, he refused to do blood tests and diagnosed me only with a physical exam and then he told my family to take me home. In 2023 I was misdiagnosed by a veterinarian, he diagnosed me with kidney disease and a very advanced infection in my mouth and gave me two months to live, he refused to do blood tests and diagnosed me only with a physical exam and then he told my family to take me home. My meowmy and my family became very sad and my meowmy refused to accept the idea of just letting me die without fighting for me, she sought a second opinion and the second vet said that I was healthy but very old and tired of my life in the streets, then a miracle happened that many cannot believe, my infection in my mouth disappeared completely and I was healthy. Six months later my tired body gave up and I flew high into the sky while I was sleeping but first I said goodbye to my meowmy, I made her biscuits for the first time and I squeezed her hand very hard with my paw, then I went to sleep and I didn't woke up, that was our farewell but she didn't know it.
We are a small cat Sanctuary located in Dallas Texas, our sanctuary is managed by my daughter and I. We work hard to end the overpopulation of homeless cats and we provide a safe permanent home for them.
